Speaking in Osogbo, Oyintiloye said power supply has continued to decline despite repeated reforms and promises, leaving homes and businesses struggling daily.

He noted that many households barely get a few hours of electricity, worsening living conditions.

He added that the crisis is hitting businesses hard, from small traders to large industries, while the ongoing heatwave has made the lack of electricity even more difficult for residents.

The situation, he said, is adding to the pressure already faced by citizens.

The APC chieftain urged the government to investigate repeated grid failures and address issues such as weak infrastructure and poor investment.

He also called on the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, to take swift action to restore stable supply.
