Oyo APC Inaugurates 30 LG Chairmen
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has inaugurated party chairmen for 30 of the 33 local government areas, tasking them with strengthening grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
Former deputy governor and APC state chairman, Chief Moses Adeyemo, urged the leaders to remain loyal to the party and President Bola Tinubu while ensuring fairness to all members.
Speaking at the state secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, Adeyemo said the chairmen would play a critical role in securing votes and sustaining party unity.
He highlighted the success of recent ward, local government, and state congresses as proof of APC’s growing strength in Oyo State.
Adeyemo emphasised the party’s goal of delivering over 80 per cent of votes to President Tinubu in 2027 while reclaiming the Agodi Government House.
