The Federal High Court in Nigeria has convicted two men for producing and selling counterfeit alcoholic beverages in Lagos State.

The court sentenced them to a combined total of 40 years in prison.

The prosecution told the court that the convicts were involved in the illegal production and distribution of fake drinks, posing serious health risks to consumers.
