Alabi said he joined the race out of a genuine desire to improve Osun and ensure better welfare for residents. He described his decision as a long-term commitment rooted in service, not personal ambition.

He expressed confidence in his chances at the APC primary and maintained that his experience as a former deputy governor places him ahead of other aspirants. He also thanked Osun Ajose for backing his ambition and supporting him with the nomination form.

Alabi added that he is prepared to provide the kind of leadership the party needs, saying he believes he stands out as the strongest option in the contest.
