The New Nigeria People’s Party has announced its willingness to enter alliances with other political parties as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.
The party said such cooperation is vital for any group hoping to win power in the coming poll.
The statement was made in Ibadan by Ahmad Sawaba, National Coordinator of the Kwankwaso National Mobilisation team. He described the NNPP as a strong political force built on justice, equity and progress, adding that the party is focused on strengthening internal democracy and unity.
Sawaba said the 2027 race goes beyond a routine election, calling it a movement aimed at restoring the hopes of ordinary Nigerians. He explained that the party is open to talks with political groups that share its goals of good governance, inclusion and national development.
He noted that any alliance must be based on shared values and mutual respect, stressing that the party will not abandon its identity. According to him, the NNPP remains loyal to its leader, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, regardless of any coalition formed.
Sawaba urged members and supporters to remain steadfast as the party builds its strategy for 2027. He encouraged Nigerians to stay hopeful and work together toward a more united and promising future.
