Preaching on the theme “King of Kings,” Adeboye urged Nigerians to fully submit to God’s authority, saying true progress comes from acknowledging God as the ultimate ruler. He cautioned that ignoring divine direction only leads to setbacks and loss of peace.

Using biblical examples like Jonah and the disobedient prophet, he reminded the congregation of the cost of ignoring God’s instructions. He encouraged believers to stay faithful and obedient to their divine callings, adding that obedience brings success and fulfillment.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who attended the service, reflected on Nigeria’s journey since independence. He thanked God for sustaining the nation and Lagos State, promising that his government will continue to deliver on its promises and improve the welfare of residents.

Sanwo-Olu said his administration remains focused on service and development, expressing hope that divine guidance will help build a stronger Lagos and a more prosperous Nigeria.
