Speaking at an endorsement rally in Abatete, Idemili North, where former federal lawmaker Ifeanyi Ibezi rejoined the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Soludo said zoning has become an entrenched tradition in the state. He explained that the governorship started with Anambra North, later moved to Anambra South where he hails from, and will naturally progress to Anambra Central after him.

Welcoming Ibezi back to APGA, the governor described the party as the political identity of Anambra, insisting that “Anambra is APGA, and APGA is synonymous with Anambra.”

He noted that his re-election campaign has transformed into a grassroots movement, with communities voluntarily organizing endorsement rallies. Soludo expressed confidence that APGA would sweep the November 8 election across the state’s 5,720 polling units and 326 wards, while urging Idemili North voters to turn out in large numbers.

The rally also saw community members present a ₦20 million cheque in support of Soludo’s campaign.

Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu, listed some of the administration’s projects in Idemili, including smart schools and new teacher recruitment. Top government officials and community leaders also pledged their backing for the governor’s re-election.
