Paul Chukwuma Declears Himself As The Most Educated Candidate In Anambra Guber race

Young Progressives Party (YPP) governorship candidate, Sir Paul Chukwuma, has declared himself the most academically prepared contender ahead of the November 8, 2025, Anambra governorship election. He said no other candidate matches his academic record.

Chukwuma made the claim on Monday while reacting to comments by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, dismissing the governor’s remarks as mere theatrics. He argued that Anambra people deserve accountability and leadership, not what he described as comic distractions from pressing issues in the state.

The YPP candidate faulted Soludo’s administration for what he termed three years of poor performance. He said insecurity, crumbling infrastructure, and declining social life remain unaddressed, adding that governance should be about results rather than jokes or personal attacks.

Chukwuma, 47, presented himself as a quality alternative with competence, vision, and integrity. He argued that Soludo’s recent focus on his age was only a tactic to divert attention from his administration’s shortcomings.

Highlighting his academic background, Chukwuma listed a first-class degree in philosophy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, another first-class in law from Baze University, and a distinction in his Master of Laws from the University of Derby. He also noted his business interests across multiple sectors as proof of his capacity beyond academics.

He accused the incumbent of overseeing weakening institutions, poor infrastructure, and worsening security, saying his own candidacy is built on addressing those failures.

With campaigns expected to intensify as the election draws closer, Chukwuma urged voters to demand accountability and focus on real solutions, insisting that his mission is about delivering positive change rather than entertainment.
