Isese Day is set aside for the celebration of Yoruba traditional religion and cultural practices. It serves as a period for adherents and the wider community to honour their heritage and traditions.
Governor Makinde encouraged residents of the state to take the day as an opportunity to pray for continued peace, unity, and progress in Oyo and Nigeria as a whole.
