Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has promised full support to the people of Delta State to keep the Peoples Democratic Party strong in the state and across the country.

He made the pledge while receiving a delegation of Delta PDP members at the Government House in Bauchi. The group was led by elder statesmen Chief Edwin Olley and Hon. Dr. Michael Tidi, former chairman of Warri South Local Government.

Mohammed praised the two leaders as committed party men who have been part of the PDP since its inception in Delta State. He commended their steadfastness in remaining loyal to the party despite shifts in the political landscape.
The governor, who also chairs the PDP Governors Forum, said the party remains a leading force in Nigerian politics, capable of meeting the needs of all regions. He assured that he would continue to stand by loyal members nationwide.
Olley and Tidi described Mohammed as a unifying figure in the PDP and thanked him for his leadership. They sought his cooperation in repositioning the party in Delta following the exit of the former state governor, stressing that the state has remained a PDP stronghold since the return of democracy.
