Pressure Mounts On South-South PDP Woman Leader, Stella Agada Who’s Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LG Vice Chairman Elect To Relinquish Her Position

Concerned Peoples Democratic Party’s leader In Ogba/Egbema/ Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers state have petitioned the National Working Committee of the Party over the insistence of Ambassador Stella Agada to combine her position as the newly elected vice chairman of ONELGA and the south south woman leader of the PDP.

The group in a petition, a copy of which was made available to Newsnow insisted that she should focus on her new position as vice chairman and relinquish her position as the south south woman leader of the PDP once she’s sworn-in as vice chairman.

The group explained that there are other credible women across the state who can be the south south woman leader of the party, adding that it will be a distraction to her as vice chairman.

The group said Amb Agada has been boasting about her connection with the state Governor, Nyesom Wike that she will remain the chairperson of the Atiku campaign organisation in the south south as long as she wants to be there.

The group however urged the NWC to prevail on Ambassador Agada to relinquish the south south woman leader position to another woman in order to correct the erroneous impression that she enjoys special status in the PDP across the state which is capable of demoralizing other loyal party members working for the return of the party at the centre in 2021.

To show that she won’t be able to cope with the responsibilities of the two offices, the petition stated someone stood in the gap for her as proxy during her inauguration as south south woman leader in Abuja recently.
Amb Agada, we learnt has continued to flaunts her close relationship with the Governor Wike.

For instance, Amb Agada when she was the secretary of Rivers state road maintenance committee, allegedly petitioned her boss, Prince Timothy Nsirim, a Son of a paramount ruler and was removed.

This, the party faithful said may not bode well with other hardworking members and demoralized them if not checked as soon as possible.
