There are anxieties among aviation workers in Lagos Monday evening as they have been locked up within the premises by protesters against brutality and other forms of national malaise .
It was gathered that staff who had closed for the day as at 5pm have been unable to leave while those who are supposed to resume for duties cannot come in.
Also said to have been affected are travelers whose flights arrived from afternoon but cannot find their ways out of the airport.
An official of one of the airlines told the NPO Reports on condition of anonymity that he closed for work at 5pm but was held up by the forced closure of all roads leading into the airport.
Some officials of the airport were said to be Making overtures to the protesters to at least allow those who have been at work go home and rest.
As at the time of filing this report, there was still a stalemate over the issue.
