A former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo State, Mr Remi Olatubora, has resigned his membership from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the October 10, governorship election in the state.
The legal Luminary from Omi-Iyansan ward in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State, Olatubora, had submitted his resignation letter from the PDP to his Ward Chairman, Apostle Medunoye, since (weekend) Saturday afternoon.
This is coming less than 24 hours after a governorship aspirant, Banji Okunomo dumped the party for the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
However, it is not yet cleared if Olatubora would be joining the ZLP or the ruling All Progressives Party (APC) in the state.
Olatobora was also a member of the State House of Assembly between 1999 and 2003.
