COVID-19: Peace Corps Of Nigeria Ekiti State Command Sensitizes General Public, Distributes Sanitizer
In an attempt to curb the spread of the deadly Covid-19 Virus, The Peace Corps of Nigeria, Ekiti state command on Monday carried out a day sensitization exercise against the spread of deadly Covid-19 virus.
The command distributed hundreds of sanitizer at popular Okeyinmi and Bisi main markets Ado Ekiti, the command also educated the market women on how to apply the sanitaizer appropriately and let them know the importance of watching of hands, while addressing the general public, The Ekiti State Commandant, Patriot Okotie Mathew, who was ably represented by his Deputy, DC Peace and Conflict, Patriot Akereja Oluwaseun in his address said, it is necessary to carry out the sensitaization campaign at this time as one of the social responsibilities of this noble organisation (PCN)
The commandant also emphasized the readiness of the organization to partner with the Federal, State and the Local governments to join forces together in combating the COVID-19 menace.
