Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has called on officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to use the front camera on Bimodal Voter Accreditation System devices when the main camera develops a fault.

Davido made the appeal in a post on his X account on Saturday as voting continued in the Osun State governorship election.

The singer said INEC officials should switch to the front camera when the other camera on a BVAS device is not functioning, claiming that the alternative camera can complete the process quickly.

His call followed reports of technical difficulties involving some BVAS devices at polling units across the state.
