PDP Aspirant Rejects Bauchi Primary Result
Godfrey Marti, a People’s Democratic Party House of Representatives aspirant for Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa Balewa Federal Constituency in Bauchi State, has rejected the outcome of the party’s primary election.
He also claimed that no valid election took place in the area.
Marti made the allegation while addressing journalists in Bauchi after the results were announced by the committee chairman overseeing the exercise.
He said his exclusion from the list of cleared aspirants was unjust.
The aspirant explained that he met all party requirements, including purchase of forms, submission of documents, and payment of fees.
He insisted that no official reason was given for his removal from the final list.
He called for a review of the process and urged party leaders to ensure fairness and internal democracy, while reaffirming his loyalty to the party.
