Tinubu Returns After Diplomatic Tour
Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Lagos on Friday evening after a diplomatic tour across France, Kenya and Rwanda.
The President arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja and was received by senior government officials and political leaders.
During the trip, Tinubu met investors and business leaders in France where he defended his administration’s economic reforms and pushed for stronger investor confidence in Nigeria.
He also attended the Africa Forward Summit in Kenya alongside Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto.
The President later travelled to Rwanda for the Africa CEO Forum, where African leaders and global business executives discussed investment, regional partnerships and economic growth.
Tinubu also held separate meetings with Paul Kagame and international financial groups during the event.
Officials said the meetings were aimed at boosting investment ties and supporting Nigeria’s economic plans.
Tinubu is now expected to participate in the All Progressives Congress primary elections beginning on Saturday.
