FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has expressed satisfaction with the progress and standard of ongoing road works across the capital city, saying residents are now witnessing governance through visible projects.

He spoke during an inspection tour on Wednesday across several sites in Abuja.

The projects visited include roads in Karu, Apo-Karshi and Gbazango in Kubwa, where different contractors are currently working.

Wike praised the pace of delivery and noted that the quality of work met expected standards in the ongoing infrastructure drive.
He commended construction firms such as Abdul Val, SCC and Zeberced for their performance, especially in completing earlier and ongoing projects within set timelines.
He pointed out that some of their previous works had already been commissioned by President Bola Tinubu.
Wike also said several of the projects would be ready for inauguration during the President’s third anniversary in office, adding that timely completion and quality delivery remained key priorities for his administration in the FCT.
