Sources claimed the lawmaker was registered with the NDC on April 29, 2026, during ongoing political realignments across the country.

A membership card carrying his photograph and personal details has also surfaced online, raising questions among political stakeholders in Delta State.

The development has stirred reactions within the Warri Federal Constituency, where some APC members expressed concern over loyalty ahead of the party primaries.

Party figures in Warri North, Warri South and Warri South-West reportedly questioned whether the alleged registration could affect his standing within the APC.

Ereyitomi recently visited parts of the constituency to consult party supporters over his re-election ambition.

However, as of the time of filing the report, the lawmaker had not responded to calls and messages seeking clarification on the allegations.
