Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Transport Minister Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi and economist Mohammed Hayatu-Deen have obtained the presidential nomination forms of the African Democratic Congress ahead of the 2027 election.

The party confirmed on Friday that all three aspirants had completed the process.

The ADC fixed the cost of its presidential expression of interest and nomination forms at N90 million.

The party also announced that the sale of forms would run from May 6 to May 13 as preparations continue for the next general election cycle.
Hayatu-Deen said his campaign would focus on insecurity, unemployment and the rising cost of living across the country.
He stated that many Nigerians were struggling daily and called for policies that would improve safety, revive businesses and create jobs for young people.
Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission has scheduled the presidential and National Assembly elections for January 16, 2027, while governorship and state assembly polls will hold on February 6, 2027.
Campaign activities are expected to begin later this year.
