Dangote Refinery Cuts Fuel Prices
Dangote Refinery has reduced its ex-depot price of petrol back to ₦1,275 per litre after a recent increase.
The adjustment marks a quick reversal in pricing within the downstream market.
The change means fuel marketers will now buy at a lower rate compared to the earlier ₦1,350. This could ease pressure on pump prices if the reduction is passed on to consumers.
The shift reflects ongoing price adjustments as supply and market conditions continue to change. Industry players say such movements are part of a still-stabilising system.
With the new rate in place, attention is on how fast retail prices will respond across filling stations. Many Nigerians are watching closely for any relief in fuel costs.
