APC Extends Nomination Form Sale Deadline

In Nigeria, the All Progressives Congress has extended the deadline for the sale and submission of nomination forms ahead of the 2027 elections.

The announcement was made on Monday as the party adjusted its timetable.

The party said the sale of forms will now end on May 6, while submission of completed forms has been moved to May 7.

It also rescheduled the screening of aspirants to run from May 8 to May 12, with the final list to be released on May 13.
The adjustment followed earlier delays in the sale process, which started later than initially planned.
The party said the new dates would give aspirants more time to complete their processes.
The APC had earlier fixed its presidential form at N100 million, with other positions also attracting high fees.
The extension is expected to allow more participants to join the race.
