Kwankwaso pointed to recent court rulings as a key factor behind the growing tension in the ADC.

The Supreme Court decision restored a leadership structure but returned parts of the dispute to a lower court, leaving unresolved issues.

Another ruling also raised concerns about the party’s convention, adding to the confusion.

He said the situation has forced wider consultations with political actors to find a stable path forward.

The move, according to him, is aimed at protecting the interests of his supporters and ensuring a reliable platform.

He also compared the current crisis to past legal troubles that pushed him out of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.

Kwankwaso dismissed claims that he has declared for the 2027 presidential race or backed any candidate.

He said the party has not decided on zoning or candidates, making such reports premature.

He added that a final decision on his next move will be announced after consultations are complete.
