New Aerial Watch Begins In Lagos
The Lagos State Security Trust Fund has launched aerial surveillance patrols across Lagos in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force Airwing Command to strengthen the fight against crime.
The operation began this week as part of fresh security measures across the state.
Officials said the patrols will cover key areas, including busy highways, waterways and communities flagged for security concerns.
The move is aimed at improving rapid response and supporting ground officers with real-time intelligence from the air.
The collaboration between the trust fund and the police airwing is expected to boost monitoring capacity and deter criminal activity.
Security teams say the aircraft will assist in tracking suspicious movements and coordinating swift intervention when needed.
Authorities have assured residents that the patrols are part of broader efforts to keep Lagos safe and secure, urging the public to remain law-abiding while security agencies carry out their duties.
