The attackers, believed to be loyal to notorious bandit leader Bello Turji, killed the village head, the chief imam, and the leader of the local vigilante group.

Homes were ransacked, food items taken away, and several buildings damaged, leaving behind clear signs of violence and panic.

Footage shared online by a security analyst showed empty streets and locked houses, including those belonging to the slain leaders.

The video revealed a once-busy community now silent, with no residents or livestock in sight, reflecting the scale of displacement caused by the attack.

The incident adds to growing insecurity across northern Nigeria, where armed groups continue to target rural communities.

Similar attacks in recent weeks have led to mass killings, abductions, and widespread displacement, deepening fears among residents and raising concerns about safety in affected regions.
