The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has warned Nigerians against a fake recruitment notice spreading across social media platforms.

The agency said it did not authorise or issue any announcement inviting applications for employment.

The clarification came through a disclaimer released on Wednesday and signed by the Director General, Prof Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye.

NAFDAC said the false notice was designed to mislead job seekers and expose them to fraud. It added that such messages are often used to demand illegal fees under the guise of job applications.
The agency urged the public to ignore the notice and verify information only through its official website and recognised media channels. It also reminded Nigerians that NAFDAC does not charge any fee for recruitment at any stage.
