Kola Ologbondiyan, a former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, has resigned from the party after decades of involvement in its leadership and media operations.

He announced his exit in a letter to the PDP Chairman of Okekoko Ward in Kabba/Bunu LGA of Kogi State. The letter, dated December 5 and later posted on his X account, thanked party leaders for the opportunities he received while serving in various roles.

Ologbondiyan said he reached the decision after a personal review of his political journey and concluded it was time to step aside. He informed the ward leadership that he would no longer be a member of the party and wished them well.
