Atiku had earlier hinted at his formal entry into the ADC during a meeting with the party’s Adamawa leadership in Yola. He told the gathering that a new political movement was emerging across the country and that he was joining them in the ADC. He also asked the crowd if they would accept him, receiving an enthusiastic response.
