The Old Seminarians Association of Nigeria has raised alarm over the growing abduction of Catholic priests, calling them “soft targets” for kidnappers.

Speaking at the group’s annual convention in Abuja, OSAN President and Chief of Staff to the Senate President, Chinedu Francis Akubueze, said priests are being kidnapped because criminals wrongly believe the Church is rich.
