Arnold, founder of Africa Arise International, had recently visited Nigeria on a fact-finding mission about claims of religious persecution. His trip, reportedly organised by Omokri, took an unexpected twist when he accused Omokri of manipulation and personal ambition rather than genuine advocacy. The comments sparked widespread reactions online, with Omokri yet to release any statement.

Responding to the controversy, Ibe took to his X handle on Friday to demand that Omokri address the accusations directly. He recalled an earlier post from June in which he had questioned Omokri’s motives, saying the new revelations had confirmed his suspicions.

Ibe accused Omokri of inconsistency in his political engagements, describing him as someone who often shifts positions to suit personal interests. He also challenged Omokri to clarify his stance on several national issues, including unresolved concerns about President Bola Tinubu’s academic records.

The aide urged Omokri to maintain honesty and consistency in his advocacy, insisting that public figures must stand by their words and actions.

As of the time of this report, Omokri had not issued a public response to either Arnold’s claims or Ibe’s remarks, leaving many Nigerians online awaiting his reaction to the growing controversy.
