In his acceptance speech, Odeyemi thanked party leaders and delegates for their support, promising not to betray the trust placed in him. He praised other contestants for their role in strengthening the party and called for unity among members.

He said his leadership would focus on rebuilding the PDP ahead of the 2026 governorship election, stressing that the party must reclaim its place as the voice of the people and an alternative for governance in the state.

Odeyemi pledged to strengthen grassroots structures, promote youth and women participation, and ensure internal democracy. He assured members that his leadership would be guided by fairness, inclusiveness, and transparency.

He urged party members to put aside past divisions and work together to return the PDP to Government House, Ado-Ekiti, with a vision to restore prosperity and hope to the people of the state.
