The Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo State has praised Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, describing him as a calm and resilient leader whose style continues to inspire the party.
In a statement issued in Akure on Wednesday, the caretaker chairman of the party in the state, Chief Bakkita Bello, said Fubara’s return to office after what he called political distractions was a victory for democracy and the people of Rivers.
Bello noted that the governor’s mandate, freely given by the people, cannot be taken away, stressing that Fubara’s commitment to peace and service in the face of challenges has made him a symbol of hope for many Nigerians.
He explained that the Rivers governor had shown courage, justice, and truth in his leadership, qualities he said set him apart from many politicians and continue to strengthen the PDP nationwide.
The Ondo PDP further assured Fubara of its support, prayers, and solidarity, expressing confidence that Rivers State would record greater unity and progress under his administration.
