Tinubu Congratulates Former Kaduna State Governor At 68

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated former Katsina State governor, Ibrahim Shehu Shema, as he marked his 68th birthday.

In a statement by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, the President joined family, friends, and associates to celebrate Shema, describing him as a leader whose contributions to governance remain a reference point.

Tinubu commended Shema’s record in public service, recalling his role as Attorney General of Katsina and later as governor, where he focused on infrastructure, education, and healthcare. He noted that Shema’s projects included secondary schools, girl-child primary schools, Almajiri model schools, ICT and business institutes, clinics, and a 250-bed specialist hospital.

The President also highlighted Shema’s reputation for financial discipline and patriotism, saying his approach to governance reflected a commitment to human and infrastructural development.

Shema, who now serves as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, was praised by Tinubu for his achievements and the recognition he has received over the years.

The President wished him continued good health and long life.
