Arrangements had already been concluded to move Ruth abroad for more advanced treatment in India. According to the company, all logistics were in place and only medical clearance was being awaited before she could be flown out. Unfortunately, she passed away before the transfer could take place.

The group noted that Ruth showed strength in her fight to recover, but despite medical interventions and financial support, she did not survive. It pledged that lessons from the incident would drive further improvements in its safety systems and operational practices.

The company extended heartfelt condolences to the Otabor family and assured that it remains committed to accountability and compassion in its dealings. It prayed for comfort for the bereaved family as they mourn their loss.
