Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade says the team has not received the $100,000 reward and other promises made by the Federal Government after their victory at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Ajibade, who led the team to secure their record-extending WAFCON title, disclosed the delay during an interview, expressing disappointment over the unfulfilled commitments. She said none of the pledges made to the players had been delivered so far.

The Federal Government had announced that each player would receive $100,000 and a three-bedroom flat as part of the rewards for their success. President Bola Tinubu also conferred the national honour of Officer of the Order of Niger on the players and technical crew during a reception at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
