Former Minister Audu Ogbeh Dies At 78

Audu Ogbeh, former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party and minister of agriculture between 2015 and 2019, has died at the age of 78. He passed away on Saturday, August 9.

His family announced that he died peacefully and remembered him as a man who lived with integrity and served the nation with dedication. They said details of his funeral will be shared later and requested privacy as they mourn.

Ogbeh led the PDP from 2001 to 2005 before joining the cabinet of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari as agriculture minister. His earlier political career included serving as minister of communications from 1982 to 1983 under President Shehu Shagari.
