Obidient Movement Unveils Ward Coordinators in Kano

As part of its preparations for the 2027 general elections, the Obidient Movement has launched ward coordinators across local government areas in Kano State.

The inauguration, held at the Kano Municipal Local Government, was led by the group’s national coordinator, Dr. Tanko Yunusa. The event also featured the unveiling of the “Peter Obi Prosperity Cap,” which symbolises a shift from consumption to production and a stand against hunger, corruption, and poor governance.

Leaders from Jigawa and Katsina States were present at the ceremony, pledging to replicate the initiative in their regions and spread the message of the movement.

Dr. Yunusa described the Prosperity Cap as a national symbol of hope, urging Nigerians to unite for accountability, progress, and a brighter future under Peter Obi’s leadership. He also noted that plans are underway to roll out empowerment programs aimed at the youth.
