The remaining 10 will be honoured under the NYSC Hope Alive Initiative. These individuals suffered permanent disabilities during their service and are being recognised for their courage and sacrifice.

The event will be hosted by the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, and NYSC Director General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, alongside top officials of the scheme.

The statement noted that the awardees exemplified the values of patriotism, commitment, and resilience during their service year, adding that the honours aim to encourage youth participation in nation-building.
