The statement, signed by key party figures including Governor Adeleke, former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, PDP state chairman Sunday Bisi, Senator Lere Oyewumi, and 24 others, was distributed to journalists by the governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed.

Stakeholders condemned what they described as unfounded attacks on Adeleke by members of the APC, especially on television and social media.
