FG Reaffirms Commitment To Rebuilding Borno Under Renewed Hope Agenda

The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to rebuilding Borno State, emphasizing its focus on infrastructure, security, and economic recovery as part of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

During a visit to Maiduguri, Abubakar Momoh, the Minister of Regional Development, outlined the Federal Government’s plan to collaborate with Borno State in revitalizing areas devastated by over a decade of Boko Haram insurgency. The government will work through the North East Development Commission (NEDC) to support these efforts.

He noted that the commission’s work in the Lake Chad Basin has revitalized the state’s economy, with the Renewed Hope Agenda already showing positive results.

The Federal Government’s efforts to aid Borno’s recovery reflect a strong commitment to restoring stability and development in the state.
