Police Question Pastor Paul Adefarasin Over Gun-Like Object, Unregistered Car in Viral Video

Pastor Paul Adefarasin, Senior Pastor and Founder of House on the Rock Church, is currently being questioned by the Lagos State Police Command following the circulation of a viral video showing him brandishing what appears to be a firearm during a roadside confrontation.

In the footage, Adefarasin—seated inside a vehicle—can be seen in a heated exchange with another road user. At one point, an object resembling a handgun briefly appears in his hand, seemingly pointed toward the individual.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Lagos State Police Command confirmed that Pastor Adefarasin voluntarily reported to the Command Headquarters in Ikeja, where detectives have launched a formal investigation into the incident.

“Pastor Paul Adefarasin has turned himself in at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja and is currently being interrogated by detectives who have commenced investigation on the case since a video surfaced online showing the pastor holding a gun-like object against another road user while driving in an unregistered vehicle,” the statement read.
