ICPC Raid Uncovers Sensitive Devices
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission has recovered sophisticated wiretapping equipment from the Abuja home of former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
Operatives reportedly found devices said to be capable of intercepting phone conversations and accessing confidential security documents during a search at the residence in the Federal Capital Territory.
Sources familiar with the operation said the recovery followed an ongoing probe, with investigators examining how the equipment was acquired and what it may have been used for.
The anti-graft agency is yet to release a full statement on the development, while further investigations are expected to determine the next line of action.
